1. HP printer driver problem -
Printer drivers always work as the translator between your printer and operating system. Printers drivers are also like another software that may go out of date, lose compatibility. If you have downloaded the wrong driver then definitely it will not work properly with your printer. When you experience any driver related problems, then first uninstall the driver that you have on your desktop and then replace it with the latest version.

Sometimes, a struck print job is responsible for overloading the queue and thus prevent print jobs received by the printer. In such situations, you have to follow this troubleshooting procedure -
1. Turn off your printer and unplug it from the power source.
2. Save the document that you are planning to print. When you clear the queue, all print jobs automatically gets erased.
3. Click the Windows button on your keyboard and then type “Services” in the search toolbar.
4. From the list of services, search “Print Spooler” and then press a right click on it. After this click on “Stop” as this halt all print jobs.
5. Then open Windows Explorer browser and then search for “C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS”.

If you suspect that your WiFi connection is having some issues then ask these questions from yourself -
a) Is your HP printer properly connected to the network? If you have any doubt then print a Wireless Network Test Report and then check everything.
b) Is your PC connected to the network? For this, you can use HP Print and Scan Doctor.
c) Have you changed anything on your computer? If you have recently update any software then restore your system back to original settings.
4. New Cartridge is not working -If you have recently installed any cartridge and that is giving you trouble then you should take these necessary steps -
1. If you still have old cartridge then plug it back into the unit. Once the old cartridge is acknowledged by your printer then remove it and again replace with the new cartridge.
2. Make sure you have removed protective seals. If you are trying to install new cartridge inside the HP printer without removing seals then the ink will not flow, hence printer will not print anything on paper.
3. Also, check the vents. In HP cartridges, there are some vents that allow ink to flow smoothly. If the vent is blocked then the ink will not come from the cartridge. So, check the top back of the cartridge and then remove the orange pull tab. You can also clear the blocked vent by using a pin.
4. Lastly, run an extended cleaning cycle. If you have not used your printer for a long time then ink may dry up. By running an extended cleaning cycle, it will remove all unnecessary ink blockages and get your ink flowing again.
